This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I've always thought public journals were stupid...

I used to document my life a lot; not necessarily on online journals though, mostly through myspace bulletins and blogs, i even had a liveJournal once upon a time. I don't know when i converted, but i came to realize my personal things were better off being written down in a traditional journal. I just don't like the idea of documenting my thoughts online. (which is kind of ironic because i'm doing that right now) But i don't know. i don't really like the idea of letting random strangers into my mind- yet it's appealing at the same time; knowing you most likely won't ever see or meet these people in your lifetime. Knowing that it doesn't really matter if they know you that well. Knowing you won't have the feeling of anxiety if you letting somebody you know in real life into what you think is your twisted mind.
I don't know though, i guess it works for some people.
I personally would rather write down my thoughts in a journal i can hide at home. It's more personal than typing a bunch of jibberish online.
